Poutine, Pints and Plaid

Poutine, Pints and Plaid is a North Bay staple. Since its inception in 2015, the event has raised more than $36,000, as of 2022, for our local community. Over the years, beneficiaries of the event have included the following: 

• Rotary Splash Pad

• North Bay Regional Hospital Foundation

• Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Bay and District

• Alzhimer's Society,

• Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario

• North Bay and District Humane Society

The event brings together over 200 people from the area, all dressed in their best plaid ready to drink beer and eat poutine. Once doors open guests are welcomed with party games, similar to a stag and doe, and later treated to either a live band or a DJ. In the last three years the event has grown substantially with the inclusion of sponsorships and improvements in ticket purchasing options, including the use of Square technology for purchasing tickets at the door.
